Tee pipes are commonly known as the 3 way pipe fittings as they resemble the alphabet ‘T’. They are manufactured to manage the direction and mixture of fluids and are also widely used in piping systems to transport two phase fluid mixtures. Tee pipes are manufactured in two types – Equal Tee and Unequal Tee. An equal tee is when the size of the branch is same as header pipes, while an unequal tee is when the branch size is less than that of header size.
